Patient-Centred Initiatives

Making patients the priority

CPQR programs have been designed in collaboration with experts involved in the planning and delivery of radiation treatment in Canada together with cancer program leaders, provincial cancer agencies and international radiation treatment organizations.  Our priority is ensuring that the radiation treatment delivered in Canada remains safe and that cancer centres can learn from the experiences of others to continue to deliver quality care that is world-class. CPQR is committed to ensuring patients are satisfied with the quality of care they are receiving.

CPQR has developed a suite of guidelines and guidance documents to support the consistent engagement of patients and their families at each stage of their care journey and to provide radiation treatment programs in Canada and around the world with tools to support patient-centered care delivery.
